Neutralizing Stress & Improving Performance for Working Professionals

Zapping Life Force - Newsletter.png

Three simple questions working professionals need to ask to neutralize stress and improve performance.

Did you know that 90% of doctor visits are for Stress? You might even call stress the plague our time!

Stress could be effecting you in any of these ways:

  • Feelings of anxiety and discomfort?

  • Overly tired or unmotivated?

  • Angry or resentful; feeling others consume time and energy and nothing is left for you?

  • Feeling overwhelmed and unsuccessful; like no matter how hard you try you cannot get ahead?

  • Feeling like you just “don’t care” on some level, “giving up and going thru the motions”
Scattered; unable to focus or complete tasks in the time needed?

  • Unable to relax and just be, the mind is constantly ‘on’?

If you answered yes to any of these questions and experience these symptoms in a mild form or even an extreme form you might be suffering from high-levels of stress. There is good stress and there is bad stress. Bad stress left unmanaged leads to poor performance levels.

How Can I Help?

I start with the 3-B’s: Brain, Body, and Breath!

When stress reaches a point of overwhelm or excess an individual’s ability to perform declines leading to burnout, ill health, or a breakdown.

Learn to recognize and interrupt the stress response cycle before your ability to perform effectively, in personal and professional, settings are compromised.

I will teach you three questions you can use to recognize and interrupt the stress response system in the body and learn more effective ways to manage the stress.

Using the three questions you will be able to interrupt the stress cycle and put the brain and body back on track. I will also share an exercise with you to help you identify the effects of stress on your body.

The Body as the Subconscious Workshop

IMG_0311.jpg

Presented by: Traci J. Dobrev, M.Ed., Ed.S, NCC, BCC,
Nationally Certified Counselor & Board Certified Coach

Location: Dance Excellence - 3730 Tampa Road, Suite #7, Oldsmar, Florida 34677

Pre-Register: $55 / $65 at the Door

As more is learned about the human energy system an increasing connection between the body and the emotions has become apparent.  Loosely speaking the space where body and emotions connect is in the human energy field.  This field is both in and around the body.

When an original traumatic event occurs the body “records” the event automatically and subconsciously.  This happens with no mental effort or awareness and the recording can be filed away as neutral, positive or negative at the time of the experience.  Typically, if the body interprets the event as neutral or positive, no pattern is stored that would cause a future trigger.

However, if the event is interpreted by the autonomic nervous system as threatening or unsafe experience, the event is stored in the body and limbic system and can act as a future trigger.

For example, a person is overly sensitive to any form of corrective feedback at work. They may consciously recognize feedback is a necessary part of their job, but if they don’t receive a perfect performance review they become upset to the point that it affects the quality of their life and their job performance for several days or weeks. They may even tell themselves to “get over it” but they can’t seem to move on. This indicates a non-conscious trigger that is interfering with an individual’s quality of life.

With energy psychology techniques and kinesiology these stuck/chronic patterns and triggers can be located and released with ease. Come learn about your energy system and see how these counterproductive patterns can be released from the body.

Applied Kinesiology (muscle testing) will be used to demonstrate:

1)     how a person can be impacted by thought and intention of self and others,

2)     how the body knows what is true and untrue and

3)     how old injuries/patterns/beliefs can be located and released.

This is a brief but powerful workshop to open your mind to new ideas and thoughts that have the potential to create more happiness and health in your life!

Hope to see you there!
