Connection Point Coaching — evidence-based modalities Neuroscience-based coaching approach

How We Can Help

There’s a reason you’re still stuck.

You’ve read the books. You’ve talked it through. Maybe you’ve tried therapy, meditation, or sheer willpower. And yet, the anxiety is still there. The patterns keep repeating. The stress keeps accumulating. That’s not a sign that you’re broken. It’s a sign that you’ve been using the wrong tools.

Most approaches to change target the thinking mind. But stress, trauma, and self-sabotage don’t live in your thoughts — they live in your body, your nervous system, your heart. That’s where Connection Point Coaching works.

Traci Dobrev uses a powerful combination of four evidence-based modalities to get to the root of what’s holding you back — not just manage it, but neutralize it. Each approach is scientifically grounded, body-informed, and built for people who are serious about real, lasting change.

HeartMath heart-brain coherence session

HeartMath®

Regulate from the inside out.

Your heart is more than a pump. It generates the body’s most powerful electromagnetic field — and one that directly influences your brain, your emotions, and your decision-making. When your heart rhythms are chaotic, your nervous system is chaotic. When they’re coherent, everything sharpens: your focus, your resilience, your capacity to lead and perform under pressure.

HeartMath® is a research-backed system developed over three decades and used by Fortune 500 companies, military units, hospitals, and elite athletes around the world. It teaches you to intentionally shift into a state called heart coherence — where your heart, brain, and nervous system are working in sync rather than against each other.

What this means for you:

When you’re coherent, you don’t just feel calmer — you think more clearly, react less impulsively, and access your best judgment even in high-stakes moments. The techniques are simple enough to use anywhere: in a board meeting, before a performance, in the middle of a crisis, or at 2 AM when your mind won’t stop. HeartMath® isn’t relaxation. It’s regulation — and it’s a skill you’ll carry with you for life.

Brainspotting therapy session

Brainspotting

Reach what words can’t.

Some experiences are too deep for conversation to reach. Trauma, fear, shame, and performance blocks get stored in the subcortical brain — beneath the part that thinks and talks and reasons. That’s why you can know something isn’t true about yourself and still feel like it is. That’s why insight alone doesn’t always produce change.

Brainspotting is a targeted, body-based technique that uses specific eye positions to locate and access these stored experiences in the brain. Developed by Dr. David Grand from EMDR research, it works on the principle that where you look affects how you feel — and that by holding a focused “brainspot,” the brain can process and release what it has been holding onto, often for years.

What this means for you:

Brainspotting is particularly powerful for trauma, anxiety, performance anxiety, emotional blocks, and anything that feels “stuck” despite your best efforts to think your way through it. Sessions are done in a deep, supported state — you don’t have to relive experiences in detail or find the right words. The brain does the work. You just have to show up.

This is processing at the nervous system level. And the results often surprise people with how far-reaching they are.

Neuro Emotional Technique session

NET (Neuro Emotional Technique)

Break free from patterns that aren’t yours anymore.

Have you ever had an emotional reaction that felt bigger than the situation called for? Snapped at someone you love. Frozen when you needed to speak up. Shut down when things got close. These aren’t character flaws. They’re conditioned responses — stress patterns that your nervous system learned at some point as a way to survive.

Neuro Emotional Technique (NET) is a mind-body approach that identifies and neutralizes these stored stress patterns — practitioners call Neuro Emotional Complexes (NECs). Using a combination of muscle testing, acupuncture meridian points, and specific recall, NET helps locate where in the body a stress response is being held and release it at the physiological level.

What this means for you:

NET works quickly. Many clients notice a significant shift within the first few sessions. It’s especially effective for people who feel like they keep hitting the same wall — in relationships, performance, or self-worth — even when they understand intellectually why they do it. Understanding the pattern and being free of it are two very different things. NET gets you to the second one.

This isn’t about dwelling in the past. It’s about completing what the body never got to finish, so the past stops running your present.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy session

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

Rewire the stories that nurture negative thoughts.

Your nervous system and your thoughts are in constant conversation. While the other modalities work at the body and brain level, CBT works at the level of conscious belief — by identifying the thought patterns, assumptions, and narratives that are quietly shaping your choices, your relationships, and your sense of what’s possible for you.

CBT is one of the most well-researched approaches in psychology. But at Connection Point, it’s not used in isolation — rather it’s integrated into a whole-person framework that accounts for your nervous system state, your body’s stress responses, and the underlying patterns that feed distorted thinking in the first place.

What this means for you:

Together, you and Traci will identify the specific cognitive distortions keeping you stuck — the catastrophizing, the perfectionism, the all-or-nothing thinking — and replace them with grounded, accurate, and empowering ways of seeing yourself and your situation. You’ll leave sessions with concrete tools and strategies you can apply immediately.

CBT gives your insight somewhere to land. Combined with the body-based work of HeartMath®, Brainspotting, and NET, it becomes the final piece of an integrated system for lasting change — not just understanding yourself better, but actually being different.

The Power Is in the Integration

Each of these modalities is effective on its own. Together, they’re transformative.

Heart. Brain. Body. Belief. When all four are working in the same direction, the shift isn’t gradual — it’s fundamental. You stop managing your stress and start moving through the world differently. You stop knowing what you should do and start actually doing it. You stop surviving at a high level and start thriving at one.

That’s what Connection Point Coaching is built for.
