What Happens to the Brain on Stress?

Happy July! I hope everyone is enjoying the summer and taking some time off to rest and recharge your batteries. 

I am starting a series on stress. That probably seems like a funny topic to pick for the summer, as that is usually when you are able to relax a little…and that is exactly why I am starting this now. 

Hopefully, with some down time, you can learn and practice ways to manage stress more effectively when September rolls around and the pace picks back up. 

You’re probably aware chronic stress is very bad and can lead to big health issues, but you may not be aware of how stress actually impacts your brain. Check out the link below…it is a four minute video that provides some education on how stress impacts the brain. I think you will find it interesting.
